The Info Day of the project Creating Bridges took place yesterday at the Ukrainian Aid Center in Greece. A distinguished group of speakers offered their insights into different aspects of the project and the overall crisis.
Dr. Dimitris Bakolas, President of European Profiles S.A., provided a detailed overview of the EU's efforts in supporting Ukrainian refugees; Ms. Eirini Vlachaki, General Manager of ANCE, introduced the organization's involvement in the project; Following introductions, ANCE representatives Mr. Francesco Amighetti and Mr. Thanos Douros presented the project's background, activities, and objectives; Dr. Yuriy Sergeyev, Former Ukrainian Ambassador to Greece and the United Nations, offered a global perspective on the situation of Ukrainian refugees; The power of art as a tool for recovery was explored by Ms. Natalia Kolesnikova, Vice President of the Exelixis; Finally, Ms. Yuliya Kryzhanovska, Vice President of the Union of Ukrainian Women in Greece, provided a crucial perspective on the specific efforts undertaken to support Ukrainian refugees within Greece.
