Over the past two days, we had the pleasure of hosting the Kick-Off Meeting of the BE FESTIVE PROJECT in Athens, as the coordinating organization.
This exciting initiative brings together partners from across Mediterranean countries (Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Turkey, Jordan and Egypt) to promote sustainable, inclusive, and culturally enriching festival experiences. Through the Be Festive project, we aim to turn cultural celebrations into learning experiences, helping young people develop organizational, communication, technical, and artistic skills in a real-world setting.
During these sessions, we:
-Aligned on the project’s vision, objectives, and expected impact
- Discussed the work plan, deliverables, and key milestones
-Strengthened collaboration among partners to ensure a successful implementation
The meeting set the foundation for a meaningful journey ahead, where we will work together to create more eco-friendly, diverse, and socially inclusive festivals that celebrate cultural heritage while fostering sustainability.
