CirqueVibe is a European Erasmus+ Sport project (ERASMUS-SPORT-2025-SCP) that aims to improve the well-being, social inclusion, and empowerment of marginalised youth through circus sport-based activities. By combining physical movement, creative expression, and collaborative practice, the project fosters self-esteem, reduces stress, and strengthens the sense of belonging—especially for young people facing socio-economic inequalities or limited access to resources.
The project will run for two years and will deliver educational and experiential circus interventions that upgrade skills, reduce stress, and reinforce young people’s social connections.
CirqueVibe seeks to enhance the well-being and social inclusion of marginalised youth (18–25) by creating an inclusive framework for learning and participation through circus arts. The approach leverages the power of movement, creativity, and collaboration to build self-esteem, alleviate stress, and nurture belonging. Specifically, the project maps and shares effective practices; develops a circus-based curriculum; upskills trainers in both circus techniques and the promotion of well-being/inclusion; implements inclusive youth activities that strengthen resilience and community ties; and empowers partner organisations to use circus sustainably as a tool for social inclusion.
Target groups include marginalised young people (18–25), trainers and youth workers in circus/sport, as well as youth organisations and community actors engaged in non-formal learning and social inclusion.
Expected results include evidence-based policy and practice guidelines drawn from successful approaches; a detailed, transferable curriculum with comprehensive resources for trainers and participants; educational and pilot workshops with measurable improvements in well-being and inclusion indicators; and a stronger transnational network of organisations in circus arts and sport.
