On May 18th, the Tashkent Botanical Garden hosted the European Union Festival, celebrating "30 Years of European Union - Uzbekistan Partnership." The festival showcased the incredible work of over 40 EU-funded projects and the contributions of the embassies of EU member states. Among these remarkable projects, the EQUAL project was proudly presented by our Uzbek partner Mehrjon NGO!
The EQUAL project, aimed at promoting gender equality and combatting gender-based violence (GBV) in Uzbekistan, has been a significant initiative under the EU-Uzbekistan collaboration. During the festival, Mehrjon NGO highlighted the project's achievements, shared info material, and engaged with attendees to spread awareness about the importance of gender equality.
