The implementation of the new project entitled “Youth Debating the Future of Europe” (acronym U4EU) funded by the EUROPE FOR CITIZENS Programme has just started.
The project begun on 2/3/2020 and will be running until September 2021. It aims to encourage democratic and civic participation of Greek, Bulgarian, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, German, Hungarian, Belgian and Dutch young citizens and give them an opportunity to express their concerns and vision towards common challenges related to the European identity, diversity and the future of Europe. In more details, the project intends to bring together young people, CSOs, policy makers at all levels, academics and the general public of different EU member states, in order to foster a debate concerning the future of EU, to inform participants about Union policy making process and European values, to encourage civic participation to face common problems appearing between European countries, as well as to cooperate, in a spirit of democratic view exchange, within the framework of European integration.
