On Sunday 11 of December took place the final intergenerational activity, the Tournament of the Century, at Nea Philadelphia Grove in the framework of the Funmilies Project.
The event was attended by people of all ages, as well as our project partners from abroad.
The programme of the Tournament activities included:
- Stretching
- Boccia Game
- Throw the ball
- Question Games
- and all of this in a treasure game!
At the end of the activities, prizes and gifts were awarded to the top three winners who accrued the highest score in the games!
After that was followed speeches at the Cultural Center of Nea Philadelphia on intergenerational dialogue, active and healthy ageing, while good practices of intergenerational sports activities from Greece and abroad were presented!
We would like to thank all the participants of the event, our volunteers, the rescuers from the EPOMEA team who once again helped us to sport safely, our partners from abroad, the speakers, as well as the Municipality of Nea Philadelphia.
