Requirements:
Qualifications and skills required:
- A Master’s degree in social science, law, development studies or equivalent. In its absence, equivalent professional experience of more than 6 years in gender mainstreaming, preferably in a least developed country (as per the DAC List of ODA Recipients);
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Good analytical and knowledge transferring skills
General professional experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in gender mainstreaming in the framework of development cooperation programmes;
- At least 4 years of experience in managing and advising multi-sector international teams;
- At least 3 years of demonstrable familiarity with EU external assistance policy in general and in particular with the EU project cycle management.
Specific Professional Experience
- Experience in providing services in minimum 2 short-term assignments in gender mainstreaming for development cooperation programmes;
- Experience in providing services in minimum 3 short-term assignments related to EU project cycle management (i.e. programming, designing, implementing, evaluating);
- 3 years of proven experience in the facilitation of consultations with stakeholders.
Language skills:
- Knowledge of both written and spoken English, corresponding to at least CEFR level C1.
