Qualifications and skills required:
- University degree (bachelor degree) in a discipline relevant to the scope of this assignment, such as communication, IT or a relevant, directly related discipline, or, in its absence, equivalent professional experience of 4 years.
Other skills required:
- Preparation of ToRs for the recruitment of communication companies specialized in the production of audiovisual and social media products and tools
- Powerpoint design
- Excellent drafting skills in both English and Burmese
- Good IT and design skills.
General professional experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the field of communication.
Specific professional experience:
- Experience in designing communication strategies and plans
- Experience in organizing (face-to-face and online) events for international organizations, including agenda, planning, logistics
- Experience in developing communication leaflets and brochures and infographics
- Good knowledge of Myanmar communication service providers
- Experience in liaising with video production companies and reviewing the quality of audiovisual communication products would be an asset
- Experience in digital security, data protection and ability to provide technical support in these areas would be an asset
- Excellent working knowledge both in spoken and written English and Burmese.
