The main objective of the project was to provide organizational and technical aid to the Archaeological Museum of Tiflida for the creation and development of self-financing resources that will mainly aim at the pilot support of regional museums at Vani or Nakalakevi, through the establishment of museum shops selling reproductions of the exhibits of the respective museums. More specifically the project actions included:
- Support for the creation and operation of institutions and rules of shops for certified reproductions of museums exhibits (mainly “in the Centre”) and
- Support for the creation of enterprises producing original reproductions of museums’ exhibits (mainly “in the Regions”).
The project was funded by the Hellenic Aid Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
