MA in Globalization and Development Studies (Maastricht University), BA in Sociology and Minor Degree in Psychology (DEREE, The American College of Greece)

Katerina has over 6 years of professional experience in developing, managing and implementing EU funded projects (e.g. Erasmus+, Europe for Citizens, EuropeAid, FWC). She is experienced in designing and implementing different types of research including evidence-based studies, quantitative and qualitative research. In addition, she has excellent cross-cultural skills and is an expert in conducting empirical research in developing countries (e.g. African countries). Her areas of interest include sustainable development, pioneering innovations and empowerment of vulnerable groups, among others. Finally, she has been involved in several national and international projects aimed at raising awareness around climate change and/or supporting vulnerable groups (e.g. homeless, drug addicts, refugees). She speaks English fluently, she has a good knowledge of Russian, as well as a basic knowledge of French and Spanish.
