
Job position: Project Manager for EU-Funded Projects
Athens Network of Collaborating Experts (ANCE) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization (NGO) based in Athens, Greece, committed to promoting inclusion, empowerment, and sustainability. Since 1996, ANCE has successfully implemented over 140 EU-funded projects that foster social inclusion through education, culture, and sports; promote gender equality; empower young people; and support communities facing social inequalities, including people with migrant or refugee backgrounds. Our work also emphasizes environmental awareness, climate action, and sustainable practices, contributing to stronger, more resilient, and more equitable communities.
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team and support the implementation of EU-funded projects. The selected candidate will play a key role in coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with EU requirements, and contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality results. The role also involves actively delivering trainings, workshops, and capacity-building activities for diverse target groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement EU-funded project activities and ensure that milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met
- Coordinate and support project events at local, national, and international levels
- Draft and review project deliverables, interim, and final reports in line with EU requirements
- Ensure full compliance with EU funding rules, contractual obligations, and reporting standards
- Coordinate project teams, partners, and resources, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and risks, ensuring results are delivered on time and within budget
- Design, facilitate, and deliver trainings, workshops, and capacity-building activities
- Support quality assurance and documentation of project outputs and learning activities
Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven experience in managing EU-funded projects (e.g. Erasmus+, CERV, AMIF, CREA)
- Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
- Ability to deliver trainings, workshops, or capacity-building activities, including facilitation skills and familiarity with adult learning approaches
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
- Experience drafting project deliverables and reports for EU-funded projects
- Good knowledge of EU funding rules and reporting standards
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment
- Willingness and flexibility to travel abroad
