Two inspiring days of collaboration, creativity and craftsmanship brought the CRAFTWISE partners together in Athens!
🤝 The meeting was an opportunity to reflect on our progress, share ideas and plan the next steps of the project, with a particular focus on the development of the Collaborative Apprenticeship Programme (CAP), which brings young designers and experienced craftspeople together to learn, experiment and innovate.
🪡 Beyond our discussions, we had the chance to explore local craft traditions through visits to the ANKAA Tailoring Lab (@ankaaproject) and Askardamykti Craft School (@askardamykti_school).
👞 A highlight was our visit to Askardamykti, where we stepped into the world of traditional shoemaking and got hands-on experience creating our own leather sandals, guided by the school’s talented craftspeople!
✨ Two days that reminded us what CRAFTWISE is all about: connecting generations, sharing knowledge and keeping traditional crafts alive while opening up new possibilities for the future.
