[:en]It was with great pleasure that we welcomed on 20/10/23, in the framework of the bilateral meetings we organize, a representative of elix.greece volunteer work projects and discussed the needs of the elderly.
We brainstormed on how we can contribute to the active socialization and participation of these people in various activities but we also talked about healthy and active ageing.
We identified some of the causes that often keep these people stuck in a monotonous daily routine and together we thought about what we can do to reverse them.
The common goal is to create sustainable conditions and initiatives to serve the needs of this target group.

active citizens fund Greece EEA and Norway Grants EEA Grants Greece Bodossaki Foundation SolidarityNow The Norwegian Embassy in Athens, Greece[:el]Με μεγάλη μας χαρά υποδεχθήκαμε στις 20/10/23, στο πλαίσιο των διμερών συναντήσεων που διοργανώνουμε, εκπρόσωπο της elix.greece προγράμματα εθελοντικής εργασίας και συζητήσαμε για τις ανάγκες των ατόμων της τρίτης ηλικίας.
Κάναμε brainstorming για το πως μπορούμε να συμβάλουμε στην ενεργό κοινωνικοποίηση και συμμετοχή αυτών των ατόμων σε διάφορες δράσεις αλλά μιλήσαμε επίσης για την υγιή και ενεργό γήρανση.
Εντοπίσαμε μερικές από τις αιτίες που συχνά καθηλώνουν τα άτομα αυτά σε μια μονότονη καθημερινότητα και σκεφτήκαμε μαζί τι μπορούμε να κάνουμε για να τις ανατρέψουμε.
Κοινός στόχος η δημιουργία βιώσιμων συνθηκών και πρωτοβουλιών για την εξυπηρέτηση των αναγκών της συγκεκριμένης ομάδας στόχου.
Είμαστε αισιόδοξοι πως αυτή η διαβούλευση θα οδηγήσει στη δημιουργία νέων, καινοτόμων και επωφελών δράσεων στο εγγύς μέλλον.
