Requirements:
Qualifications and skills required:
- Masters degree related to the areas of public health, digital health, economics, political science, development, or related field (or equivalent experience of at least 12 years in a related field).
General professional experience:
- At least 6 years' experience in the sector(s) related to the lot.
Specific professional experience:
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in the field of digital health part of which at least in LMICs.
- Experience with the EU Strategy on digital development in the MFF 2021-2027 or the previous one.
- Experience with the global agenda on digital health and country programmes.
- Previous experience in drafting thematic papers and/or country case studies.
Desirable experience:
- Knowledge of health and digital health responses to the COVID-19 crisis.
- Experience in designing and implementing health/digital health programmes.
- Facilitation skills.
- Experience with production of communication and dissemination material.
- Previous publications on digitalisation of health systems strengthening programmes in low- and middle-income countries.
Language skills:
- English C2 level expertise.
- Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is desirable.
