Requirements:
Qualifications and skills required: Master's Degree or equivalent academic qualification in social sciences, economics, development studies, public policy or related fields. In absence of the post graduate degree, an equivalent additional professional experience of three years in a relevant field is require.
General professional experience:
- Over 3 years’ recognised work experience and/or specialised high-level experience in social protection.
Specific professional experience
- Sound knowledge of social inclusion and assistance policies and systems (cash transfers, special programmes for vulnerable and marginal group’s e.g. female-headed households, pregnant adolescent girls).
- Sound knowledge and understandings of social protection policies of Cabo Verde is a strong asset.
Language skills:
- Full working knowledge of Portuguese and good command of English.
