The project aimed at providing to unemployed immigrant women from Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine the necessary information regarding their labour rights, and also the opportunity through counselling to gain the skills necessary to effectively search for work in the formal economy and to acquire the appropriate knowledge on setting up their own company in the cleaning services sector. In parallel, the project aimed to support these women at psychological and legal level. The main project activities focused on the provision of information and awareness, provision of training and counselling for business orientation and employment.
During the project the following services were provided to the participants free of charge:
- 3 group counselling sessions focusing on psychosocial and professional support
- 6 personal counselling sessions focusing on the selection of ways and means for dealing with problems and obstacles to social and professional integration, the promotion of social and professional integration, information , as well as family counselling (if necessary) and personalized career counselling services.
- Counselling support for promotion to employment focusing on detailing the institutional framework and issues related to pay and social security, as well as information and training on searching for employment, labor rights, how to write a successful CV etc
- Counselling support for the establishment of an enterprise focusing on the provision of information regarding legal and tax obligations for the establishment of the enterprise and its operation, the design of a business plan, marketing techniques etc
- Training on the provision of domestic and commercial cleaning services
This project was funded by the Greek NGO Programme “We are all Citizens” which is part of the EEA & Norway Grants for Greece. The Bodossaki Foundation is the Fund Operator of this Programme. The Programme aims to strengthen civil society and enhance the contribution of NGOs to social justice, democracy and sustainable development.

Σκοπός του έργου ήταν να παρέχει σε άνεργες γυναίκες μετανάστριες από τη Γεωργία, Μολδαβία και Ουκρανία την απαραίτητη πληροφόρηση σχετικά με τα εργασιακά τους δικαιώματα, τη δυνατότητα – μέσω της παροχής συμβουλευτικής – να προετοιμαστούν κατάλληλα ώστε να μπορούν να αναζητήσουν εργασία με συστηματικό τρόπο στην τυπική οικονομία και τις απαιτούμενες γνώσεις αναφορικά με το πως μπορούν να συστήσουν μόνες τους τη δική τους εταιρεία. Στα πλαίσια του έργου παρασχέθηκε επίσης κατάρτιση σε θέματα καθαριότητας κτιρίων και κατοικιών. Παράλληλη δράση του έργου ήταν η υποστήριξη αυτών των γυναικών σε νομικό και ψυχολογικό επίπεδο μέσα από την υλοποίηση ατομικών και ομαδικών συνεδριών.
Στα πλαίσια του έργου παρασχέθηκαν δωρεάν προς τις επωφελούμενες γυναίκες μετανάστριες οι ακόλουθες υπηρεσίες:
- Συνεδρίες ατομικής και ομαδικής επαγγελματικής συμβουλευτικής με τη συμμετοχή ψυχολόγου
- Παροχή συμβουλευτικής υποστήριξης για την προώθηση στην απασχόληση (καλύπτει θέματα που σχετίζονται με τεχνικές αναζήτησης εργασίας, σύνταξης βιογραφικού σημειώματος, παρουσία στις συνεντεύξεις για εργασία, εργασιακά δικαιώματα)
- Παροχή συμβουλευτικής υποστήριξης για την ίδρυση επιχειρήσεων (καλύπτει θέματα που σχετίζονται με την οργάνωση και τη διοίκηση επιχειρήσεων, πληροφορίες για τις νομικές και λογιστικές υποχρεώσεις των επιχειρήσεων, τεχνικές μάρκετινγκ, ανάπτυξης επιχειρηματικών σχεδίων κλπ)
- Κατάρτιση σε θέματα καθαριότητας κτιρίων και κατοικιών.
Το έργο χρηματοδοτήθηκε στο πλαίσιο του Προγράμματος «Είμαστε όλοι Πολίτες», το οποίο είναι μέρος του συνολικού Χρηματοδοτικού Μηχανισμού του ΕΟΧ για την Ελλάδα. Διαχειριστής Επιχορήγησης του Προγράμματος είναι το Ίδρυμα Μποδοσάκη. Στόχος του Προγράμματος είναι η ενδυνάμωση της κοινωνίας των πολιτών στη χώρα μας και η ενίσχυση της κοινωνικής δικαιοσύνης, της δημοκρατίας και της βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης.
