The project was co-financed by European Commission (Tacis Institution Building Partnership Program (IBPP) – Support to Civil Society and Local Initiatives). It aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in the region of Zhytomyr by activating a strategy that includes business training, networking with Ukrainian and European organizations, and creating the necessary prerequisites for the establishment of a physical business incubator for new SMEs in the target region.
The main activities of project can be grouped into two broad categories:
- effective support to the local SMEs via the provision of Business training
- examination of the possibility to integrate the existing Business Incubation Services of ZCIC to a Physical Business Incubator in order to better promote SMEs activities and to create the appropriate conditions for their future development.

Το έργο υλοποιήθηκε με την συγχρηματοδότηση της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής (Πρόγραμμα Tacis IBPP). Στόχος του ήταν ο σχεδιασμός μίας στρατηγικής για την αποτελεσματική υποστήριξη της επιχειρηματικότητας στην περιοχή του Zhytomyr στην Ουκρανία.
Οι δράσεις του έργου περιλάμβαναν:
- υποστήριξη τοπικών ΜΜΕ μέσω της παροχής εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων
- δημιουργία των κατάλληλων προϋποθέσεων για την ίδρυση μίας «φυσικής Θερμοκοιτίδας Επιχειρήσεων» (physical business incubator)
- δικτύωση με Ουκρανικούς και Ευρωπαϊκούς επιχειρηματικούς οργανισμούς.
