KE1- Coordinator (Cat II)  “Support for the implementation and monitoring of Education action titled Youth Leadership and Training Opportunities in Myanmar” (Deadline: 1st of November 2022)

Requirements:

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Advanced university degree (Master degree) in a discipline relevant to the scope of this assignment, such as public administration, management, social sciences, economics, development economics, international relations, law or other relevant subjects. or, in its absence, equivalent professional experience of 7 years
  • Strong inter-personnel skills to support effective liaison and coordination with national counterparts and final beneficiaries
  • Ability to organise and facilitate debates and dialogues, community consultations, and public meetings, and provide training as appropriate
  • Proficiency in MS Office programmes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Other skills required:

  • Experience in communication, facilitation, and networking activities
  • Experience in setting up and analysing surveys
  • Working in multi-cultural, multinational environments
  • Supporting capacity development teams
  • Experience in working with the EU would be an asset

General professional experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant general professional working experience in international development.

Specific professional experience:

  • At least five years of experience in Myanmar working with government, non-government actors or development partners are required

Language skills:

  • Excellent working knowledge in oral and written English
  • Excellent working knowledge in oral and written Burmese
