Ιn the context of the project Sigway- Sport in Greenways, ANCE successfully organized a focus group, promoting sports and leisure activities on greenways!
The discussion was attended by representatives from the Region of Western Greece and from the Municipalities of Velos – Vochas, Western Achaia and Mesolongi, as well as the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT).
During our discussion, we aimed at raising awareness on environmental and circular economy issues and we highlighted the importance of converting inactive railway lines into green routes. In addition, special reference was made to specific cases of potential conversions.
